Our Technology
Clendons is acknowledged as one of the technologically advanced law firms in Australasia.The cornerstone of 'our technology' is our 100 megabit (mb) Local Area Network (LAN) which runs a combination of Microsoft and Linux server's for Network File Storage, Collaboration Software and Accounting Systems. Clendons uses a range of Open Source Software including the Compiere ERP/CRM system.
Clendons has also developed a range of proprietary software to enable us to add maximum value when delivering our services. This includes our DiscovererTM software for forensic analysis and cataloguing of electronic documents, our SuperLog software to enable seamless delivery and record keeping for mobile legal services, and our Word Generator as part of our visual arts/branding practice.
Brooker's Electronic Library
Clendons has had a preferred supplier agreement with Brookers, professional publisher, since 1999. This was Brookers first preferred supplier arrangement within New Zealand.Brookers provides a comprehensive range of accurate and timely information in both hard copy and electronic products and services.
As a member of The Thomson Corporation, Brookers benefits by being able to draw on their resources. Thomson is one of the world's largest providers of professional information solutions. This means Brookers can offer Clendons access to the products and technology of Thomson companies around the world.
Brookers allows us to discard statutes, regulations and cases and instead provide access to a complete electronic library which enables better and more timely research.
The agreement between Clendons and Brookers provides a unique research environment.
